Battersea Power Station has unveiled a major new London attraction: a custom-built, glass elevator which will travel 109 metres to the top of the North West chimney stack.  From the top of the iconic chimneys the lift will offer panoramic views across London and act as the public viewing gallery. This will offer visitors unrivalled, 360 degree panoramic views of the Battersea Power Station site itself, the Capital’s skyline and on to the home counties.

P&N are proud to announce that we will be delivering this most prestigious assignment which is one of the most challenging jobs to be undertaken at Battersea Power Station. The project has taken two years in the planning and will see the company engaged throughout the full lifecycle of the programme of works from design and installation of this complex, bespoke lift system and onto customisation, servicing and maintenance.

A 2nd lift will be incorporated into the chimney which will docks to the main elevator allowing for convenient disabled user access but also acting as a rescue lift in the event of a breakdown.
