At P&N we invest heavily in the training and certification of our teams and provide both funded and on-the-job training to staff, where appropriate. We ensure that all of our engineers are accredited to the same high standards expected of the Alcumus SafeContractor criteria.

With annual re-certification to ensure SafeContractor status our inhouse Health & Safety team manage the regular reviews and updates of the Health & Safety policies, procedures, risk assessments, PPE registers, toolbox talks and site-specific safety requirements as they become applicable.

As a construction site manager, site supervisor or engineering project manager you will want to select sub-contractors who you can rely upon to work safely at all times in every aspect of your construction project. This is especially prevalent when selecting a partner who will be responsible for installing your lifts and their related infrastructure on a busy construction site. We understand that there is no margin for error in the delivery of these services for our engineers, other trades who will use the Lifts and ultimately the general public and users of the Lift post production.

Alcumus SafeContractor Accreditation demonstrates that all of our engineers are eligible to work with hot works, ladders/step ladders, tower scaffolds and that we are also certified for working at height, working on services, systems or equipment requiring isolation as well as working with chemicals and hazardous substances. We apply these same controls for our employees and are also certified in selection and control of sub-contractors.
