Broadgate Tower
The Broadgate Tower is a skyscraper in London's main financial district, the City of London. It was constructed between 2005 and 2008 and is a construction of two buildings of 33 stories and 13 stories respectively.
A complex project requiring the installation of Double-Deck lifts where two cabs are attached together, one on top of the other. The Doble-Deck lift systems allows passengers on two consecutive floors to be able to use the elevator simultaneously, significantly increasing the passenger capacity of a lift shaft which improves efficiency in buildings where high volumes of foot traffic would be too great to be served by a single elevator stopping at each floor.
This challenging system requires in-depth expertise and years of experience to ensure that the systems installed work effectively and that operational stability is achieved quickly. It is also essential that this type of project, whilst complex in its nature, be delivered to the highest safety standards at every stage. P&N's Safe Contractor accredited staff ensure that this is the case and met with the requirements of both project managers and site supervisors alike.
